Year In Industry (YII)
Cobham is a well established corporate partner of The Year In Industry. In addition to the invaluable work based experience you will get, all students undertake training through the Chartered Management Institute towards a level 3 Certificate in Management.
Placements are selected according to individuals' degree discipline, special interests and long-term aims, but also according to Cobham's business needs. This underlines our expectation that Year In Industry students are de facto employees, contributing to and involved in the real work of their team.
On completion of your YII you will be asked to give a formal presentation to key business stakeholders for your project reviewing your achievements and giving you fantastic exposure to senior members of the management team.
Outstanding YII students may be offered sponsorship for their degree (or remainder of their degree) with the view to joining the Graduate Programme upon completion.
